Smoke in the Invert - Thought I’d have a dabble in Smoke Photography. 

Sri Lankan demonstration outside the UN - Although I don’t normally do this sort of thing, I figured I should profit from living in the heart of the European headquarters of the UN. This demonstration was taking place outside the main gates to the UN, where the flags of the nations represented can be seen and the monumental Chair that serves as an anti-mine monument can be posed beside by tourists.  

Eyes - This girl I was minding for a few weeks had the most amazing light brown eyes with nearly a black circle around the outside of them. 

I’ve been working on a Railroad - In early summer, the sun sets right between the tracks of this train line.

SHIT. - I was in the mountains when I saw this. Despite never captioning my photos, I thought this one deserved it.  

Roel - I snapped my soon-to-be-step-father in Covent Garden in London last summer whilst we had a coffee in the main square. There was a strong sun and it was almost directly above us, but the metallic table we were sat at helped to reflect the light upwards, giving him an underlight aspect. 

Ali - This is a friend of mine from London who I snapped in Hyde Park last summer when the sun was high up. If I had had a flash unit or even a white sheet of paper I could have used it as a reflector to balance out the shadows under her eyes, but alas I had nothing and the sun was very strong. Just to see her eyes I had to over expose the whole thing, which ended up blowing out her face completely.

Keep off the Grass - They should have included that the land was riddled with mines if they wanted to guarantee result.

If at first you don’t succeed… - My failed attempt at Raclette toasties. Evidently the cheese gets quite heavy and soggy when melted..
